Very belatedly

Three reviews/commentaries on 300:

Fabio Barbieri explaining why he hates it without even having seen it;

The "Bigger than Cheeses" webcomic sums up the movie in four panels;

And The Claw of the Conciliator unloads in memorable terms:

It's a compliment to be slandered by stupid movies, really. Watching 300 made me feel considerable sympathy for Persians, people with disabilities, circus freaks, pagan priests, visible minorities, sexual minorities, pacifists, mask-wearing ninjas, "Athenian boy-lovers," cowards, traitors, non-Spartan Greeks and nine-foot-tall androgynous body-piercing-enthusiast emperors; in fact, it made me feel better disposed to just about anyone who wasn't a moronic, snorting, bellowing, bloodlusting racist fascist jingoist homophobic psychopathic body-waxed mass-murdering death-cultist. I couldn't wait for those stupid Spartans to be massacred.
